So yesterday I finally mustered up enough courage to try out doing a self practice. Decided to do am Ashtanga half primary in the Shalom Center, the faculty lounge of the University I teach in. I don’t know if that was a brilliant idea Today I woke up with the achy-est back ever! It kinda feels like I wrestled off some monster truck seat covers or something. I don’t think I did anything wrong in the practice. I mean, I even skipped the headstand because I know I can’t do it and I didn’t even attempt Marichiasanas because they’re impossible. I think it wasn’t the poses that got to me, but the fact that the room I practiced in was extremely cold. I guess Ashtanga and AC don’t mix, yes?
